Lomond Banks is a world-class waterfront family tourism destination, located in the Balloch area of Loch Lomond designed to reflect its beautiful natural surroundings.
Shaped by community, stakeholder and National Park feedback, the revised plans look to deliver a tourist location that has been specifically designed to complement the scenic landscape and existing businesses in the area.
The £40m investment not only brings economic benefits to the area but a commitment to creating more than 200 jobs.
The revised plans brought forward by Flamingo Land continue to represent the desire for a change in direction from its existing portfolio of theme parks to create a new accommodation led resort bespoke to the natural habitat.
Proposals will be submitted to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority for consideration following a period of community engagement and consultation, which is expected to help shape the plans further.
